- “Permission Giving” has a specific meaning in the “P.I.S.T.” concept as discussed in the first article. In short, P = “Permission”, e.g. approving of masturbation. I = “Information”, e.g. advising a client that withdrawal is a very ineffective method of contraception. (These two aspects were discussed at length in the first article.) S = “Suggestions” and T = “Tasks”; these two skills are discussed in detail in this paper.
