- DONALD W. BOVD has been Professor of Industrial Engineering at Montana State University, USA since 1979. He is also graduate Program Director for the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, and teaches a variety of courses including production planning and control, operations research, statistical applications, simulation and knowledge-based systems. His research experience centres around systems analysis and modelling techniques, which evolved from developing a water planning model for the State of Montana. He presented a series of lectures on planning model development at the Northwestern Polytechnical University of Xi'an, Shaanxi, China in June of 1987. His current interest is in expert systems applications
- Gu JIAO-ZHONG is currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Industrial Engineering, North Carolina State University, USA. He was a lecturer and director of the Industrial Management Program for the Management Engineering Department of Northwestern Technological University, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, and has been a research participant in the strategic planning of human resources for the Ministry of Aviation Industry in China. He has an MS from China in Manufacturing Engineering, and an MS in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University.
