- ORINDA BYRD CHRISTOPH is Assistant Professor of Production and Operations Management at James Madison University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Management from Clemson University. Dr Christoph is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). She has published in academic and practical journals. Her research interests include applied inventory models, JIT purchasing, quality assurance, and the integration of planning and control activities in manufacturing systems.
