Carol Magee Carol Magee, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is the author of Africa in the American Imagination (2011) and coeditor with Joanna Grabski of African Art, Interview, Narratives: Bodies of Knowledge at Work (2013). Her current book project focuses on contemporary African artists who photograph urban environments.
