PHO: Pediatric Hematology and Oncology is an international journal covering all aspects of research and patient management within the area of blood disorders and malignant diseases of childhood.
The journal’s goal is to make PHO: Pediatric Hematology and Oncology the premier journal for the international community of clinicians, scientists, hematologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professions who together aim to define optimal therapeutic strategies for children and young adults with cancer and blood disorders.
The journal is interested in basic, clinical, and translational research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Treatment in diverse clinical settings
- Novel insights into pathogenesis and/or clinical care
- Genetics
- Molecular diagnostics and targeting
- Pharmacology
- Stem cells
- Cellular and immune therapies
- Transplantations

Observational case reports will not be considered unless they have the potential to alter clinical practice or our understanding of pathophysiology or disease.
All submissions undergo rigorous peer review prior to publication. Our Editorial Board includes experts in pediatric hematology and oncology research, representing a wide range of academic and geographic diversity.
Authors can choose to publish gold open access in this journal.
