Dallen Timothy Best Paper Award

From 2022, an annual prize will be awarded for the best research paper published in Journal of Heritage Tourism for the previous year, based on its contribution to the heritage tourism research literature, as judged by the Journal editors and representatives of the Editorial Board. The winning paper will be made available free of charge for a year, and the author(s) will receive a year’s online gratis subscription to the journal. The award has been named in honour of the Founding Editor of the journal, Professor Dallen Timothy of Arizona State University. Professor Timothy established the journal in 2006 and remained as its Editor until 2020. He is a leading scholar in heritage tourism and has published extensively in the field.
