Aims & Scope : IntraVital focuses on cutting edge research in the field of intravital microcopy, a fast growing area of light microscopy that has revolutionized biomedical research. This technology has made possible to visualize, in real time, several biological phenomena ranging from the dynamics of tissue response under both physiological and pathological conditions to the dynamics of subcellular structures.IntraVital is the only forum for the scientific community that is specialized in high resolution in vivo imaging. It is a truly interdisciplinary journal, which encompasses several areas of basic research (e.g. neuroscience, immunology, physiology, cancer biology, and cell biology) and their application in pre-clinical and clinical settings. Moreover, Intravital provides a venue for disseminating new ideas and research on advances in instrumentation, optics, development of new surgical procedures, automated software for image analysis, and imaging probes.
