Competent to collaborate: Towards a competency-based model for interprofessional education

Abstract

A competency-based model of interprofessional education is commended to remedy weaknesses in knowledge-based and attitude-based models. It distinguishes between ‘common’, ‘complementary’, and ‘collaborative' competences.
