Abstract
The National Representative originated from the need for the EGPRW to be democratic in the conduct of its affairs. With the increasing prominence of the organisation as an international body, the role has expanded. The core function remains the democratic representation of co-national EGPRW members at the General Council of the EGPRW. Derivative functions relate to specific tasks in which the National Representative serves as a conduit between national resources and the international collaboration that is the EGPRW.
