European Journal of General Practice (EJGP) is a peer-reviewed international open access journal that publishes research in primary care medicine (family medicine, general practice) in Europe.
European Journal of General Practice is the official journal of WONCA Europe, the European Society of General Practice/Family Medicine.
The journal aims to provide new knowledge on medical decision-making, healthcare delivery, medical education, and research methodology for the development of primary care medicine in Europe.
Although the journal’s focus is on articles that provide or discuss new evidence underpinning the daily work of the practicing family physician and the primary care team, it welcomes contributions from other disciplines, including health sciences and social sciences. Areas covered include:

European Journal of General Practice accepts original research papers, review articles and clinical case reports.
European Journal of General Practice operates a double anonymized peer review policy. The journal respects regional differences in health care systems, cultural backgrounds, and stages of societal and economic development. It welcomes manuscripts from all parts of Europe. Manuscripts from other parts of the world will be assessed for their relevance for European primary care.
All articles will be made freely and permanently available online through gold open access publication.
