Article title: ALSFRS-R decline rate prior to baseline is not useful for stratifying subsequent progression of functional decline

Authors: Hamatani, T., Atsuta, N., Sano, F., Nakamura, R., Hayashi, Y., & Sobue, G.

Journal: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Degeneration

DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/21678421.2024.2309989

The above mentioned article contained errors when it was first published online.

The value “0.240” of Kappa coefficient mentioned in the following sentence “The analysis of PRO-ACT produced similar results (Kappa coefficient: 0.240)” under “Prognosis of the populations classified by ALSFRS-R total score change during the 12 weeks prior to baseline” section was incorrect.

The value of the Kappa coefficient has now been corrected as “0.180” and the article has been republished online along with some minor changes such as correcting the layout of Tables 3a and 4a.
