Page 512, lines 15–17 in the Conclusions section: “Overall sun compass orientation, also classified as photomenotaxis (Fraenkel and Gunn, 1940) results to be a behavioral performance rather sophisticated, by detecting the amount of environmental light (irradiance)” should read “Overall sun compass orientation, also classified as photomenotaxis (Fraenkel and Gunn, 1940) results to be a behavioral performance rather sophisticated, if compared with that of merely detecting the amount of environmental light (irradiance).”
