Table I.  Fatty acid composition (g/100 g of total fatty acids) of the erythrocyte membranes, breast milk and serum of the women supplemented with fish oil (n = 7) and primrose oil (n = 4).

The table reports of fatty acid composition of erythrocyte membrane, breast milk as well as the serum of the women. This revision does not alter the interpretation of the data presented.

The authors apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The results and discussion section on page 38 currently reads:

The sum of n-3 PUFA (EPA + DHA + LA) in erythrocyte phospholipids was significantly higher (4.0 g/100 g of total fatty acids) in pregnant mothers supplemented with FO, resulting in a significant reduction in the n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio.

It should read:

The sum of n-3 PUFA (EPA + DHA) in erythrocyte phospholipids was significantly higher (4.0 g/100 g of total fatty acids) in pregnant mothers supplemented with FO, resulting in a significant reduction in the n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio.
