Yvonne SteinertMcGill University, Canada; Dr YVONNE STEINERT, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Family Medicine, the Director of the Centre for Medical Education in the Faculty of Medicine and the Richard and Sylvia Cruess Chair in Medical Education at McGill University. She was also the first Associate Dean for Faculty Development at McGill University (1993–2011) and the President of the Canadian Association for Medical Education (2006–2008). She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, educational research, and the design and delivery of faculty development programs and activities in a variety of settings. Her research interests focus on teaching and learning in the health professions, the impact of faculty development on the individual and the organization, and the continuing professional development of faculty members. She has written extensively on the topic of faculty development and frequently addresses medical educators at both national and international meetings.Correspondence[email protected]
