He was a Visiting Professor of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Toyama, Japan. Formerly, he was a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney.
