Journal overview

This title has ceased (2007).

Clinical Intensive Care aims to provide all critical care professionals with the latest papers which affect their clinical practice. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in all areas of critical care including paediatric and nursing issues. It focuses on the clinical aspects of intensive care, but also publishes basic science papers with a clear clinical relevance.

Original research papers, state-of-the-art reviews, and case reports are all featured and editorial commentary and correspondence are actively encouraged. A review of the recent literature which impacts on clinical practice is regularly included. Clinical Intensive Care appears quarterly and is available electronically to all subscribers free of charge.
