Aims & Scope: BioArchitecture is a multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to the art and science of the architecture of biological systems. The journal has a strong scientific and medical focus, but also strives to serve a broader readership. Its papers are of interest to scientists and clinical researchers, as well as to the wider bioarchitecture community. BioArchitecture explores all levels of spatial organisation of biological systems from molecules to tissues to organisms.

BioArchitecture publishes relevant and timely original research, authoritative overviews, and commentary and perspectives providing context for the work presented in the journal and elsewhere. Original research papers may cover all topics important in this field including the specialisation of structure in cells and tissues, and the mechanisms of movement of cells and intracellular components. Reviews, commentaries, and perspectives on any aspect of BioArchitecture are welcome.

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Identification of regulators of cell and tissue architecture
2. Development of therapeutics which target cell architecture
3. Mechanisms of specialisation of the cytoskeleton
4. Development of tissue organisation
5. Function and mechanism of molecular motors
6. Cytoarchitecture as a recipient and/or initiator of cell signalling
7. Specification of the biomechanical properties of cells and tissues.

Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Group, 530 Walnut Street, Suite 850, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
