A Further Study of Korean Shamanism and Hypnosis

Abstract

Certain aspects of Shamanism, the major religion of Korea, are reviewed. Case studies, illustrating the prominent role played by self-hypnosis, hetero-hypnosis, and related conditions of suggestibility in the manifestations of this religion, are presented.
