Abstract
This investigation describes the effectiveness of automated hypnosis to facilitate relaxation and hand warming in the treatment of migraine headache without biofeedback equipment. Results indicate that all subjects experienced considerable relief and diminution of headache. The probable role of antecedent events in eliciting vasoconstriction was also noted.
