Lessons from Practice: What Not to Do

Abstract

Diversity is a hot Issue in higher education, one that leads often to spirited discussion and open disagreements. many concerned people within the academy want to “do the right thing by finding ways to increase the number of under-represented groups on the campus especially minorities. They'd find quit a number of published articles on how this or that institution was able improve campus diversity, but precious few that draw lessons from programs and efforts that were not very successful.
