Estela Mara Bensimon is the Dean’s Professor in Educational Equity at the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education, and she is the Founder and Director of the Center for Urban Education. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Education and a Fellow in the American Educational Research Association.
