D-L Stewart is a Professor in the School of Education at Colorado State University and studies the philosophy and history of U.S. higher education concerning issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice; the role of higher education in public discourse about these issues; and the effect of higher education on the learning, growth, and becoming of minoritized students.
