Peter Felten is Executive Director of the Center for Engaged Learning, Professor of History, and Assistant Provost for Teaching and Learning at Elon University. His most recent book is Connections are Everything: A College Student’s Guide to Relationship-Rich Education (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2023) coauthored by Isis Artze-Vega, Leo Lambert, and Oscar Miranda Tapia.

Janira Mendes Borges is pursuing a Master’s in Education Policy & Analysis at Harvard University where she also serves as an Equity and Inclusion Fellow with a background in Higher Education.
