Dorothy Vásquez‐Levy is a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Teacher Education, College of Education, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ 85721, USA. She has been a teacher and principal and now teaches educational foundations courses to teacher education students. Her research interests include teacher beliefs and knowledge, curriculum, teacher education and culture.
