Creating Space for Therapeutic Relationships, Play, and Development in a School for Children with Special Needs

Richard Alston

Richard Alston is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist who trained at the William Alanson White Institute in New York City. He works as a social worker at the Parkside School in New York City, where he also maintains a private practice.

Rachel Sosland

Rachel Sosland is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work and the Post Graduate Center of Mental Health's Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Training Program. She has worked at the Parkside School since completing her training as a postgraduate in 1998 as well as in private practice with children and families. She supervises master's level social work students in learning how to work with children and, in particular, with children with special needs.

Anne Tuohy

Anne Tuohy supervises the Social Work Department at the Parkside School. Ms. Tuohy also works in an inclusion program for preschoolers with special needs at the Merricats Castle Nursery School in New York City and in private practice.

Nori Anna Weiler

Nori Anna Weiler is a Child and Adolescent Therapist who received her master's in social work from New York University in May of 2012. She worked as a social worker at the Parkside School in New York City for four years.

Diane Zeitlin

Diane Zeitlin is a Child Psychotherapist at the Parkside School in New York City, where she also has a private practice. She supervises master's level social work students in their work with children with developmental challenges.
