Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop and partially validate an instrument to measure the role-efficacy beliefs of curriculum coordinators of sexuality education. The results of this study indicate that the Curriculum Coordinator Role-Efficacy Belief Instrument shows promise as a reliable and valid tool for studying curriculum coordinators' beliefs toward their leadership roles in sexuality education program development and implementation. The instrument may serve as a needs assessment for the future training of curriculum coordinators. As a measurement tool, the results can lead to further understanding of the curriculum coordinator involvement in the nurturing of quality sexuality and HIV/AIDS education programs in the public schools. Efforts to continue validation of the instrument must continue.
