RESUMEN
En los ũltimos años, se ha incrementado el interés por estudiar el proceso de implantación de la estrategia en las organizaciones. En este contexto, el presente trabajo tiene como finalidad analizar, mediante el estudio de un caso, el proceso de implantación de un sistema de gestión estratégica a nivel de alta dirección en una unidad de negocio del sistema portuario español. En concreto, el estudio de este proceso de implantación ha sido estructurado en cuatro partes, como son: a) el proyecto de implantación del Cuadro de Mando Integral; b) la construcción del mapa estratégico; c) la implantación tecnológica, y d) la gestión de la estrategia. En definitiva, esta investigación contribuye a aportar un mayor conocimiento, comprensión y explicación de los cambios que la organización ha experimentado para realizar dicho proceso de implantación.
ABSTRACT
In the last years, there has been increased interest in the researching the implementation process of the strategy in the organizations. The purpose of this paper is to analyze, by means of a case study, the implementation process of a strategic management system at top management level in a business unit of the Spanish port system. In particular, the study has been structured in four parts, as they are: a) the implementation project of the Balanced Scorecard; b) the construction of the strategic map; c) the technological implementation, and d) the management of the strategy. Ultimately, this study contribute to better knowledge, understanding and explanation of the changes that the organization of study has experimented to carry out this implementation process.
