David Yun Dai
David Yun Dai is Professor of Educational Psychology and Methodology at the University at Albany, State University of New York. Dr. Dai received his PhD from Purdue University and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented, University of Connecticut. He also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East China Normal University. Dr. Dai was the recipient of the Early Scholar Award in 2006 conferred by the National Association for Gifted Children and a Fulbright scholar to China during 2008–2009. Dr. Dai is internationally known for his scholarly work on gifted education, talent development, and creativity. He has published seven authored or edited books and over 80 journal articles, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Gifted Child Quarterly, Journal for the Education of the Gifted, and Roeper Review. [email protected].
