Mel Franklin

Mel Franklin, PhD, is a school psychologist and Department Head of Psychology in the Amphitheater School District. The Department was the recipient of the Award of Excellence for School Psychology Services in 1987–88. Dr. Franklin was recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists with the inaugural National School Psychologist of the Year award in 1991. In 1994 he was presented the Keith Perkins Award for his “lifetime contributions to the profession of school psychology in Arizona.”
