Abstract

Apricots grown in Central Otago on trees which had been sprayed with low concentrations of 2,4-D to control fruit drop have been analysed for 2,4-D residues. Little 2,4-D was lost from the fruit during the sampling period of 5–7 weeks. At normal harvest all residues were below 0.7 mg/kg.
