Abstract
The conformational properties in solution of the prototype compound TSAO-T (1) and its two analogues 2 and 3 have been determined by H and C NMR techniques. The three compounds showed a sugar ring conformation rare among HIV-inhibitory nucleosides, probably due to the presence, at the 3′-position of the spiro moiety.
