Antwan Jones

Antwan Jones is Associate Professor of Sociology, Epidemiology, and African Studies at The George Washington University. He writes and speaks on topics related to urban neighborhoods, population health, and racial & ethnic relations. However, he focuses his research on the residential and neighborhood context in which individuals live as a way to understand health disparities among marginalized populations. Dr. Jones serves on the National Advisory Committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Evidence for Action Program and the DC Policy Center’s Advisory Board.

Gregory D. Squires

Gregory D. Squiresis Professor of Sociology, and Public Policy & Public Administration at The George Washington University. Current board memberships include the Fair Housing Task Force of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and the Social Science Advisory Board of the Poverty & Race Research Action Council in Washington, D.C. His most recent book is his edited volume, The Fight for Fair Housing Causes, Consequences and Future Implications of the 1968 Federal Fair Housing Act (Routledge 2018). In April 2018, Dr. Squires received the Contribution to the Field of Urban Affairs Award from the Urban Affairs Association.

Sarah Crump

Sarah Crump is a research assistant at the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program. Prior to joining Brookings, she was a public affairs specialist with Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, where she supported the management of integrated community outreach and promoted the department’s programs, as well as a knowledge management associate with the National Association of Counties, where she supported research on county-level management and governance topics. Ms. Crump graduated from The George Washington University with an M.P.A. and from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism and Hispanic Linguistics.
