Evaluation of different acaricides for control of red crevice mite Brevipalpus phoenicis Geijskes (Acari‐Tenuipalpidae) infesting tea

Abstract

Field evaluation of different acaricides for control of red crevice mite Brevipalpus phoenicis Geijskes on tea revealed that all the tested acaricides, namely, Cybolt, dicofol, Folimat, dimethoate and Ambush, were effective in controlling the mites. However, significant yield increase was obtained in Cybolt‐ and Ambush‐treated plots compared to the other acaricides.
