Abstract
The occurrence of Fusarium wilt on potato in the field caused by Fusarium acuminatum Ell. & Everh. (Gibberella acuminata) has been for the first time recorded in Democratic Yemen. Its pathogenicity was confirmed. Screening for resistance against the disease showed that Baraka abnd Oraga were less susceptible, while Cardinale and Desiree showed relatively high disease incidence.
