, , , &

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the perceptions of university staff on ethical climate in their workplaces. The findings of the study suggest that the university employees have a positive opinion of the practices concerning laws, rules and policies in the institution they work in, and that they have a positive perception on ethical climate in this regard. Nevertheless, it could also be said, that the performance levels of the academic and administrative staff in terms of acting independently in carrying out their functions is ‘undecisive’, and therefore, could be rated as medium.
