Abstract

Knowledge mobilization is about translating new knowledge into practice. Virtual learning processes play an important role in diffusing knowledge. This study addresses the personal and cognitive dimensions of virtual learning. A survey (n = 403) was conducted to understand how individual characteritics influence perceptions of ease of use of e-learning systems. Our findings show that e-learning system self-efficacy and computer anxiety mediate the effects of personal innovativeness with IT and computer playfulness on perceived ease of use.
