As Volume 43 Issue 1 is underway, it is a good time to announce that Issue 4 of this volume will be the last print copy of JECTE. The journal is transitioning to a digital format. The JECTE Editorial Board and the NAECTE Governing Board have had several discussions over recent years about the format of the journal and reviewed survey information from NAECTE members about the advantages and challenges of moving to a digital format. The move to a digital format will address accessibility and environmental responsibility as well as efficiency of publication.
JECTE will continue to be a high-quality professional journal and that success rests with the authors and the important contributions of those who serve as editorial board members and the NAECTE governing board. I am looking forward to another productive and invigorating year for the journal.
