Carol Pollard
Carol Pollard is Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems at Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina. With nearly 20 years in leading CIS and MIS university programs in USA, Canada and Australia, Dr. Pollard's interests and specialties include IT Service Management, systems development, technology transfer and IT governance. She holds an MBA and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of Global Information Management, VP-education for SIG-SVC, VP- International for the Global IT Management Association, Faculty Advisor to IBM Tivoli Software Group and a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the CIO Forum. She has presented her research at numerous international academic conferences and has published widely in leading academic journals including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Information Systems Management, Journal of Global IT Management, International Small Business Journal and the International Journal of E-Business Research.
