Abstract
This article reflects the author’s voice; both pertinent and uniquely positioned to reflect lived and bodily experience as a practitioner. It focusses on the time the author spent as an artist-bodybuilder (2008-2012) through recuperation, to the present body she lives with now. The text discusses the process of evaluating the imported technologies, strict discipline, mundane routine, physical masculinisations through her contemplative bodily undoing.
