Notes on contributor

Tracey Whare is Māori from Aotearoa/New Zealand. Her tribal nations are Raukawa and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui. Tracey has been involved in indigenous advocacy at the UN for 20 years. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Auckland where she teaches and researches on Indigenous peoples’ rights, the Treaty of Waitangi and indigenous legal systems.
