The Photographic Inventions of George Eatman

Abstract

In 1954 the centennial of George Eastman was celebrated in America and Europe by tributes to him as an inventor, industrialist and philanthropist. In the following article the Curator of the George Eastman House surveys the first ten years of his photographic career, which culminated in the invention of the Kodak camera.
