Abstract

In this paper, the authors examine the relationship between TQM-based organizational culture, organizational characteristics, IS department characteristics, and the modified software maturity process (MCMM). The result shows that the use of data, continuous improvement, customer-orientation, and the job challenges are significantly correlated with the MCMM levels. The size of the organization, IS department size, and IS department roles also have impacts on MCMM level.
