Pete Wright

Dr Pete Wright Before joining the Institute of Education in 2011 as Lecturer in Mathematics Education, Pete taught for twelve years in comprehensive schools in London, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Brighton, and for three years as a volunteer in a rural school in Kenya. Other posts in education include five years as a curriculum developer and two years as a local authority consultant. His current research interests include teaching mathematics for social justice, equity in mathematics education, visible mathematics pedagogy and participatory action research.
