Abstract

Conventions and exhibitions are the fastest growing segment of the tourism market. Prior research has focused on the attendee perspective. This study classified exhibitor perspectives on host organization service quality using six criteria, including exhibition marketing, exhibition design, surrounding environment, service personnel, booth management, and service information. The Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to investigate exhibitor service quality. The analytical results showed that exhibition marketing was the most important criteria to exhibitors, including Internet exposure and inviting specific overseas buyers. The findings of this study can help governments and other organizations to satisfy demand in exhibition market.
