Abstract

This paper studies the photo-thermoelasticity interactions in an infinite semiconductor medium with cavities. A new hyperbolic two-temperature photo-thermoelasticity theory with one thermal delay time is used to investigate this problem. The eigenvalue approach under the Laplace transform method is used to get the analytical solutions of physical field variations. Also, the thermoelasticity properties are considered without neglecting the coupling between the thermo-elastic and the plasma wave. Finally, the numerical results are graphically presented to display the difference between the generalized hyperbolic two-temperature theory and the generalized classical two-temperature theory.
