ETHICAL ISSUES IN PRACTICE

Multiple Professional Perspectives in Direct Work with Young People: A Case Example

Pages 293-298 | Published online: 31 Oct 2008

Abstract

This practice paper explores the different perspectives and potential professional and ethical conflicts that social workers and school teachers may encounter when working together to support children and families. A real case example is utilized to highlight the professional ethics and values of those involved, and to reflect on the reasons behind conflicting perspectives and possible ways forward to improve partnership working.
