Ethical research practice and journal publication

Pages 71-74 | Received 26 Jul 2015, Accepted 17 Nov 2015, Published online: 23 Dec 2015

ABSTRACT

A common flaw in the ethics review process is identified and its implications, especially as they may particularly affect social welfare research, are discussed. Journal editors are invited to rectify the flaw by requesting, of submitting authors, details about the participation of the community under study in the design of the research.
