Jerry T. Mitchell

Jerry T. Mitchell is Professor and Chair of the Department of Geography at the University of South Carolina. He has research interests in geography education, environmental hazards, and Latin America.

Michael Mewborne

Michael Mewborne is the director of the South Carolina Geographic Alliance. He earned his Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of South Carolina and later taught World Geography and Advanced Placement Human Geography at Chapin High School in Chapin, South Carolina, and River Bluff High School in Lexington, South Carolina.

Ali Hendrick

Ali Hendrick is a National Board Certified Teacher at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. She won the Advanced Placement Human Geography Distinguished Teaching Award from the National Council of Geographic Education in 2021.
