Resumen

En este artículo se intenta profundizar en los problemas que suscita la comprensión de los textos poéticos. Un mismo poema de Federico García Lorca se presenta a dos grupos de lectores. A ambos grupos se les pide que construyan una interpretación coherente del poema, pero mientras que a un grupo sólo se les presentan el poema sin aclarar ni siquiera el nombre del autor, al otro grupo se le ofrecen algunas pistas tanto sobre el autor como sobre algún aspecto del poema. Aunque las dificultades subsisten, se ven en algún modo modificadas en el segundo caso. Los resultados sirven para efectuar algunas reflexiones sobre las dificultades que presenta la comprensión de la poesía.

Abstract

In this article an in-depth study of the comprehension problems poetical texts raise is made. A poem of Federico García Lorca is presented to two groups of readers. Both groups are asked to build a coherent interpretation of the poem, but while one of the groups receives just the poem with no explanation to it whatsoever, not even the author's name, the other group is provided with some hints both on the author and on some aspect of the poem. Even though difficulties remain, they are somehow diminished in the second case. Results allow for some reflections on the difficulties poetry's comprehension raises.
