Abstract

This case study charts the process of psychotherapy with a young man over a period of about five years and discusses the emergence of erotic feelings in the transference and countertransference.

Helena Hargaden, B.A. Hons. (English), M.Sc. (Psychotherapy), Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst, has a psychotherapy practice in South East London, where she lives with her family. She also teaches in the M.Sc. in Transactional Analysis at the Metanoia Institute in South West London.
